Welcome to the Vapelandian Steeping Poll! You are welcome to contribute your steeping times here as well as view the results for any flavor. The poll is based on closed-cap steeping times for a 15ml bottle at room temperature. (e.g. a 30ml bottle would take almost twice as long, and a 3ml bottle would take less than half the time). Click here for basic info on steeping.
Thanks for participating/viewing the Steeping Polls! If you would like to add any personal wisdom about steeping or steeping times, please comment below! Happy vaping!
Hello all!
Feeling nostalgic I recently had bought 15 FF wanting to walk down memory lane and was saddened that what I think could have been expired juice?
Anyway it tasted like bubbles.
Jah ( Co-creator) had personally Emailed me
Asking how the issue could be in any way resolved.
Offered my money back or a brand new bottle.
I’d asked if I could get opinions on 2 other juices
(Lavender Ever After & Duchess Dé Letche)
NOT ONLY DID ALICE IN VAPELAND SEND ME MY 15 FF BUT ALSO SENT ME LAVANDER EVER AFTER & DUCHESS DÉ LETCHE!
Absolutely went above & beyond for me!
Jah was very kind, thoughtful, understanding & sympathetic to my situation.
I couldn’t be anymore grateful
I’m fairly new to vaping. My brother helped get me started and he took me to this local place and told me to buy a bottle of premium juice to use right away and five bottles of house made stuff to let steep for two weeks. So that’s what I do with everything. I’ve purchased two sampler packs from Alice in Vapeland and the two week wait is KILLING me. They all smell so good. Can’t wait to try them. Thank you for making juice buying fun.
<3 If you really (need) a quick steeping method. Warm up some water in a coffee cup for 1-2 minutes and drop the bottle in the water for a minute or so. Boom Done! :] I personally vape my juice (April Moon) right away. <3<3<3 If you haven't tried it, I would….Delicious!!!!!!! xooxo
thanks for the tip
I ordered the little bit of everything sampler…Were those pre-steeped? Now im questioning if maybe i would like some that i didn’t necessarily like…??
Hi Gregory! Our juices are freshly made when ordered and shipped out to you! They are all considered ‘ready to vape’ out of the box, but many Vapelandians choose to steep them longer.
How do you steep the juice
Hi there! We recommend steeping your juice capped in a cool dark place. Every now and then you can open the lid to exchange the air. That’s it!
What is the recommended time for steeping and would it be the same for all juces? I would also like to know if the time is the same for all juces. If not can you please elaborate on the difference an recommend the easiest way for me to knoww the difference. Thank you very much for your help.
Hi there! Here is some information that may help you: https://aliceinvapeland.com/info/faq/#steeping It’s hard to say what will be the best steeping time for you personally. This may be something you have to experiment with. But as a general rule, the flavors that change the quickest with steeping are the fruitier ones. The cakier ones will thus have a longer steep time to observe changes. Hope this helps and happy vaping!
no they are not pre-steeped from my experience
What exactly does “steeping” mean? I recently got April Moon and I love it!
Hi Lindsey! So glad you found a delight in April Moon :) Here’s some info on steeping for you ~ https://vapeland.org/more/faq/#steeping
You guys should add 11th rose to the poll :)
Thank you! We have now added 11th Rose to the Steeping Poll!
I have found for the tobacco juices, the longer the better. Pearship /Fifteen Foot Falls is pretty much intolerable until at LEAST two weeks, better at four, glorious after six or so. White Rabbit seems to come together after three weeks or so. After that, the different essences start coming out with better and better results.
The lighter fruit flavors seem to be better devoured the second they arrive as they just do not stand the test of time, at least for me.
The exception to this is ‘Twas Brillig, which is wonderful the second it arrives and keeps right on delivering through months 2-3. After that, the blackberry seems to begin to waffle and become somewhat muddled.
The cake flavors ….well, I eat them up the second I have them in my hot little paws. Especially in summer. Which is now approaching…..oh my! Good thing I can gobble them up the second I get them,. eh?
They never last long enough for me to steep! I go through it to fast!
U could b missing out, just think if you love em out the mailbox how much better they’ll be even just a week later. Unless u live in Zimbabwe and it takes 2 weeks to get your delivery! Just joking.
Oh, Alice! I am so happy the Mad Hatter was able to add the steeping poll = )
:) We all thank you for sharing such a brilliant idea!
I wouldn’t know about the ultrasound, but patience is definitely a virtue with AIV juice and they are well worth the wait.
NEVER use an ultrasound to steep AIV juices!! They are delicate and complex flavors and an ultrasound can ruin them (I did this). Patience is the key here…and the reward is HUGE!
I do use an ultrasound to steep my juices, being very careful that the temp never gets too warm (which would ruin the juice)! I’m much too impatient to wait a month for mine to steep (which seems to be the length of time I need to steep for my taste)!
Amanda, can you please tell me where you found your ultrasound machine? I really want one!! But I’m not sure what kind is needed for steeping, or where you find them? I really would appreciate it, if you could help me out. Thanks!
